I've loved my OP-1 field and taken good care of it, but in the last month or so the internal mic went from sounding terrific to only ultra high end and zero body in the sound. Has anyone come up with a guide to replace the mic? Thanks!

after speaking with teenage engineering, they will repair it, but it wasn’t cheap, and I use my OP1f almost daily for sessions and writing… Even though this is not repairing the internal mic, it brings amazing functionality and makes the vocoder more usable and it's a cheap and fast and good sounding alternative: https://a.co/d/2bGFtli

Teenage Engineering also quoted me $215 (shipping included) for the repair. I’ve been using this usb c gooseneck mic ever since and it’s been nice for most of my applications. https://a.co/d/2bGFtli makes the vocoder and live reverb thing I was doing even better. Might get it fixed if something else breaks on it.

You know it didn't even occur to me to get a usb mic (duh), a much cheaper solution, I think I'll go this route for now, thanks very much Will
