Do you know of a way to make this speaker independent of DTS Play-Fi? I have 5 W7's and either they don't work or work sporadically. These speakers have great sound when working but.....

Did you try any of the wired connection options to listen if they work OK when using them.
Looking at the owner manual (see p.3) the speaker has an Ethernet port so it can connect to your router and also an optical audio cable input socket (Toslink?) and a 3.5mm aux input port if you wish to connect directly to the speaker from a TV or stereo amp etc.
