Can my g5x be fixed

@devorahneustein there are no guides for this camera and I know from experience that disassembling those lenses is almost impossible. I would suggest you install a new lens. Here is the other issue. There are no teardowns listed yet either. Use something like these instructions to get into the camera. Right up to step 16. You would now have to disconnect the lens ribbon cables and should be able to remove the lens. Work slow and be organized while you work on your camera. REmember it is no longer working and whatever you do now can't make it any worse.

While you work on your camera, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit. That will help the next person that has a device with the same issues as you do. It's easy and fun to create these guides. https://ifixit.com/Guide/new The iFixit community will appreciate this.
