Are my RAMs running at the correct frequency?

Hi! I want to ask one question, I have twice 8 GB of RAM and I suspect that they are running at a lower frequency than they should. Can it be so? And if so, I want to ask if something can be done about it?

What makes you think they aren't running at the correct frequency?

I just want to be sure that they are running at correct frequency and I saw in some program, they are running at 1600 MHz.

Hi @sapphire49088

What speed is shown when looking in Task Manager > Performance > Memory > speed?

If it is 3200MHz, then the ram is at the correct speed.

The laptop specifications state that the type of memory is DDR4-3200

DDR= Double Data Rate i.e. 2 x 1600MHz = 3200

Programs such as CPU-Z show the single data rate speed i.e 1600MHz and not the DDR rate
