Replaced battery not charging

Block Image

My macbook air would not stay on unless plugged in and also said service recommended, so I decided to replace the battery. I followed all the steps to do so and was successful. My macbook now turns on, has a charge, and no longer says service recommended, but when plugged in there’s no indication that it’s charging or even connected to a power source. I tried resetting my SMC as advised online, but no luck. Should I now look into replacing my usb-c board, or is there another solution I could try first?

Answer this question I have this problem too

@huntermarshall - Let’s let it charge for a good 6 hrs and then take a fresh CoconutBattery snapshot. This time let’s do the snapshot with the charger plugged in as we do need to see if the charger is charging.

that was taken with the charger plugged in. that’s what makes me think it’s the usb-c board, but in reality i have no idea about any of this.
