Hello there, is there an easily accessible grease that can be used to maintain the fan? Something that can be used on Mac fans generally, or the same sort of fan for 2014 and earlier Macs of all sorts. The fan on my Mac Mini "rattles" softly on power, but after a minute or two it goes away.

You don’t want grease, you want a light oil. I find WD40 is a good choice, but! You need to limit where you lube and not over do it. I find a damp cotton swab with the oil touching the bearing often fixes things, if not it’s time for a new fan Mac mini Late 2014 Fans
