Dead PS Vita. Doesnt charge

Hi,

I tried starting my PS Vita PCH-1004, but it wouldn’t turn on. I suspect the battery, as it worked the last time I used it, and the battery is from 2011. I've ordered a new one, but it hasn't arrived yet.

In the meantime, I measured the voltage at the battery connector pins and only got 0.8V with the charger plugged in. Shouldn't it be around 3.7V?

Is there a better spot closer to the charging port where I can measure the voltage?

If it wasn’t used for a while the battery has probably died to a point where standard charging won’t help. But yeah that seems pretty low . I’d say wait on the new battery and take it from there if it’s ordered and on it’s way.
