Hi, I have an Acer Aspire ES1-512 running ubuntu.
When I boot the Laptop up, I get the typical acer boot screen but then goes to a black screen with these words on it:
PXE-E61: Media Test Failure check cable
PXE-MOF: Exiting PXE ROM.
Please help!

It means that your computer is not connecting to the hard or solid state drive. This could mean that either the drive has come loose at the connector or the drive itself is damaged.
Does it appear in the BIOS?
