iPod Classic 6th compatibility?

Will this fit a classic iPod 6th gen? Will data transfer also be possible (sync, etc)?

@coreenbuen41923 there is not reason why it shouldn't. The 30 pin dock connector was used on iPod's (starting from 3rd generation), iPad and iPhone uses identical pinouts. Connector Pinout For Apple IPod IPhone Dock ImageEvent Data transfer on that is accomplished through USB not Firewire for the later Generations. and should work as well. Firewire chipsets (Syncing) haven't been included on iPods since the 4th gen click-wheel model.
