Why won’t windows boot up

I installed a Toshiba Hard Drive & a Lenovo SSD as well as leaving the windows 8 Disc inside the media player but can’t seem to load into the software, it was working great and then it unfortunately seemed to have just gone into a black screen and won’t load into the software I’ve played in the bios setting but can’t seem to find a fix any help

What is the full model number of the laptop?

Is the CD drive selected as the 1st boot option in BIOS? This is assuming that a Win 8 CD is in the cd/dvd drive.
