@zlgaming could be a bad speaker or could be clogged speaker mesh. You could try and clean the mesh with a soft (clean) nylon brush (toothbrush) and see if that makes any difference. If not, it might just be time to replace the speaker. Use this video guide Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro Teardown or this video to work on your phone. Speaker module is on the bottom right (Left if your are looking right at the phone from the battery side;-) Replacement speakers are readily available at many online stores.
