Bright spot on my TV screen
Hello, out of nowhere my Samsung UN55J6300AF TV is showing a bright spot. See picture. Any idea how to fix this?

Hi @joannelevy
It appears as though one of the LED backlight's lenses has fallen off.
Here's a video that shows how to access the backlights so that the lens can be glued back into place.
If you decide to do this ensure that you do not mix up the white diffuser sheets that have to be removed or reverse (i.e. not back to front) them when placing them back in position as this will interfere with the clarity of the image being seen when viewing. Also be careful when handling the LCD panel as it is very fragile.

Who would fix it and how much
The idea behind ifixit is that users can get information on how to fix the problem themselves.
If you can't do this yourself most professional TV repair services should be able to do it. Contact a few in your area and ask for a quote to do the repair
this spot can be due to a damaged replactor in screen.

@yzu49psgmbidvar spots like that are pretty much always caused by a missing diffuser cap from the backlight LED.
