If you live in New Zealand, you may be interested to know that I just happen to be retiring two of these batteries (with a charger unit) that kept my old Lumix DMC-LX3 going before it died several years ago. I was checking to see whether or not they had any further applications ... couldn't find any on the website. In the process of checking I came across your post on the fixit.com website ... so you are welcome to them if you are interested.

For the battery, search online for CGA-S005E battery (examples only) to find suppliers that suit you best.

For the USB cable, search for K1HA08CD0004 (examples only), to find suppliers that suit you best.

ifixit does not sell either of these parts
