S-pen not working?

I just changed my Samsung note 8 display. After changing display Spen is not working. It detects that I pulled out the s pen but its not working, the display seller told me that my spen is broken so i bought a new one still not working

Where did you get a new display replacement from? There is a possibility that your new display is aftermarket, and is not designed to function with an S-Pen. You may need to find another display that has pen functionality. Here is this one from this website: Galaxy Note8 Screen: Display and Digitizer Replacement Part (ifixit.com)
