I bought the iPad 7/8 Screen Digitizer and the new digitizer has adhesive strips on it, but the kit also came with a set of precut adhesive strips. Do I need to use both or are the ones that came on the digitizer sufficient?

If there are adhesive strips on the digitizer already, those should be enough. The image in the store does not show any, but there may have been some changes in supplier since that image. Either way, it's still good to have a set of spare just in case.
