Does Not Turn On When Plugged in

When my keyboard is plugged in and I click the button to turn it on, the screen does nothing and none of the keys work.

Does it turn on if you insert 6 x 1.5V D type batteries into the battery compartment of the keyboard instead of the adapter?

Have you checked that there's 12V DC on the output cable plug of the adapter that you're using now?
