My Wii Disc Drive Light is unresponsive.

For about 3 months, the Disc Light on my Wii (RVL-101) is unresponsive. I’ve had mine for a long time, and it would flicker every once in a while, but now it’s completely off! I want to fix it, but I’m not sure what parts I need. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I think your best option is probably to replace the faceplate, as that's where the light is located. It's pretty straight forward; the only electrical components in it are the lights. iFixit sells the part, but only the -001 version, which should still fit, but the buttons would look sideways given the way the -101 model is placed. If that doesn't matter to you, then I'd say go ahead and replace it. I'll also include the guide here:
