5v and 12v power source seach

searching for a spot of motherboard to pull 5v power and a 12v power plus also a 5v thats only active when computer on. long story short. accident happen around kids and i wont let a good machine turn to e-waste. PLZ help

I was wondering that also but going along with it, if the LA-F601P schematic could be found or purchased (I couldn't find it - perhaps your manuals sourcing magic can ;-) it should be easy enough to find suitable take off points on the motherboard.

i don't know what are you trying to do but, usually there is two inductor that outputting 5v and 3v, you can start from there.

as for 12v i think its a voltage coming from the battery and for the 5v that only active when the computer on means that its a 5VS rails, its a normal thing.
