The smaller of Apple's MacBook Air laptops featuring dual microphones and 802.11ac Wi-Fi connectivity.

Is MacBook Air 2012 screen compatible with 2013?

I bought the A1465 screen to fix the MacBook Air 2013 screen.

But it was the screen of the 2012 model and I know that the iSight camera cable doesn't compatiable

also, I don't need an iSight cable.

However ,the display and Wi-Fi cables look similar, are they compatible?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

@dogsuand2su the LCD's should be compatible. what is not are the iSight cables, WiFi cable. Those do have different length, connectors etc.

Sadly, the cables are a different length between the 2012 and the newer 2013~ Early 2015 display assembly’s. Which you can see in these two images.

The raw LCD panels are the same, but it’s a bit of work to open the assembly to replace it. For a frame of reference here’s a MacBook Pro panel replacement yours is a bit different but it gives you an idea what’s involved MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Mid 2009 LCD Replacement
