I started to have this issue a while back and I unplugged the TV for about a week or so and then plugged it into a extension cord by itself and then that worked for months and now it is doing it again. Any advise would help

@pirateone looks like you got a lot going on with that panel. If you can, post an image which looks straight on. This could be a T-con board issue which can cause distortion but so can a bad LCD driver (to a lesser degree). The main board processor may also be overheating which can cause those multiple issues. Bottom line, lets see what it shows and after that, remove the back panel and post some pictures of what your TV looks like with all the boards and interconnect cables mounted. Let us know what exact model this Vizio is.

It was doing it with my fire stick, when I turned on regular TV it didn't do it for hours and then the same thing happened
I just replaced the main board and it is doing it again
@pirateone yes I do not think this is a main board issue. Hopefully a T-con error but worst case would be the panel LCD driver
Which one would you start with
@pirateone, definitely the T-con board. Here is the trick so, you did not post any images or gave us the model number. So we did not research this to find out if your T-con board is integrated on the main board.
Remember, the LCD drivers boards are not replaceable. It is possible that there is a Gamma IC on the board that can be replaced but for that we really need to see those boards as well.
