After my last defrost attempt the ice machine was working great for a month. Tempature is correct. Last night I emptied the bin to make extra ice for camping. Woke up to only one load of ice in the bin.

Here's the tech sheet for the refrigerator.
It shows how to get into the diagnostic test modes so that you can test the ice maker functions - see Step #28 onwards, to hopefully find out what's happening.
You will have to enlarge the document by clicking on the magnifying glass icon under the document header bar several times to be able to read it. Unfortunately the file was created that way.

Why did you have to defrost it?

Because the ice maker stopped working the last time I emptied it. Seems like emptying the bin all the way triggers it to freeze where daily use doesn't. Scratching my head.
