No picture view through camera lens.
Have no view through eye viewer or on screen. Everything works but that.

My Canon EOS S3 does not see the image I try to capture. I pressed the disp button and it seemed like it wanted to respond but the image remained black. The lens cover is not covering the lens either. I also notice that my lens only responds partially to zooming action. but when I power on or off the lens extends and retracts like normal. Any responses will be appreciated.
