Blomberg freezer Showing Error code E9

My blomberg FNT9673P Showing a Red triangle sign that there is somthing wrong with it, and Showing an error code E9 .

I searched every where to know the error code meaning and downloaded the manual. didn’t find anything .


Does anyone know the Code is for what ?

and is there any possible way to reset it ?

# E9 may be a defective temperature control. You'll need to replace the thermostat

  1. Blomberg refrigerator error codes e9. If there is the “E9” error code on the display, the ice maker sensor is not working properly. Most likely, it has shorted or the wiring has been damaged.

I have same issue and found defrost heating element faulty ( tripping earth leakage circuit breaker). As a matter of fact the fault code E9 showed up after removing heating element for diagnostic purposes. I have purchased replacement part but still need to see if fault code clears itself up on its own.
