When trying to sync to a mac book pro the blue tooth verification code cannot be typed on the wireless keyboard, but the enter key is recognized. is this a logic board issue? I am unable to see what other keys may or may not work due to the link failing.

The wireless keyboard you have does not have a 10-key keypad on the right, correct?
Any liquid damage to that keyboard? Have you tried another wireless keyboard?
I doubt the issue is with the logic board on your MacBook or your MacBook in general, it’s probably an issue with this specific keyboard. I would try another one to see if you still have the problem.
