No screen touch sensitivity

I have recently replaced the screen on my SM-T585.

This is after i accidently smashed it trying to take the back off as the screen was originally black. The LCD ribbon was loose.

Anyway, now that the ribbon is tight and i have a new screen, there is no touch sensitivity at all on the screen. The buttons work on the sides but that is it.

What could it be?

u should remove the back case and try pushing/pressing the lcd wire into the lcd wire spae well
