no volumn on tablet,

I purchased the tablet I month ago today and I cant get the volumn to work. I can only hear it if I use earplugs. Can I return this one and get a replacement.?

I would reach out to the store an attempt a return, if not possible open the tablet and ensure there are not loose cables or damage to the speaker unit.
