How to repair dislodged handle

The handle on my Nescafe Dolce Gusto Genio has come lose and no longer moves the portion that pierces the capsule. Can this be repaired? If so what tools do I need?

My handle has snapped with a coffee pod still inside. Do you have any info on how to repair it?
