starting problems after running engine for awhile

After a short period of time running or driving my 2003 chevy malibu and then shutting it down for more than a few minutes it wont start for 30 to 45 minutes. Any clues

Options

If you haven't already gotten it fixed. Get it scanned if possible. Otherwise it could be a crank angle sensor, they are fairly cheap and easy to fix.
