The fifth-generation Elantra debuted at the 2010 Busan International Motor Show in April 2010. The fifth-generation Elantra (2010-2015) added a two-door coupe variant in addition to the standard four-door sedan model. These Elantra vehicles included six-speed automatic or manual transmissions.

Camshaft Sensor Location Please

I have a 2013 Hyundai Elantra GLS and I cannot find the Camshaft Positioning Sensor. I have error codes and constant stalling. I have already replaced the Crankshaft Positioning Sensor which is down low to the right of the oil filter as you are facing the vehicle. I need to find the Camshaft Sensor. Every diagram just points to the upper left quadrant of the vehicle close to the oil cap. Can someone assist me please? I have the sensor just need to know where to stick it.

Answer this question I have this problem too

@woodywool there should be two. One for the intake and one for the exhaust. Post some picture of your engine with the engine cover off.

Are you thinking of the crankshaft position sensor? Because as @oldturkey03 stated, there are two camshaft position sensors; one for the intake and one for the exhaust, and they're located on the top of the engine, right hand side as you're facing the engine.
