My speaker only plays bass

The treble has stopped working on my speaker. It was used in a bathroom so I think some water (steam) may have got in. All other features work well - Bluetooth, charging, aux in but the sound quality is bad because the top/mid range is missing. What should I look at first to troubleshoot this?

Options

I would do a factory reset. Press the power button + AUX for 5 seconds. Good luck.
