I mean you can… I use Avast Mobile Security but there are many alternatives out there or don't use

Nah, not really. iPhones (even older ones like the 5) are pretty secure as long as you don’t jailbreak them and stick to the App Store

iPhone is working like Linux platform that provide own software so no as needs as window computer but if you want extra layer of security than use some popular antivirus for mobile. For my google pixel mobile I purchase from https://www.antivirusonlinekey.com/produ... and after install it give me some cool and extra security features.
