Modem fried in a thunderstorm. How can I replace it?

A few years back my Mother's Powermac G4's modem was fried in a thunderstorm (Power surge). Ever since then it has never been able to connect.

Can I fix/replace the modem? I've already tried three different types of wired connectings, none of which have worked.

Help please!

This was the Power Mac G4's internal modem correct ? Have you considered purchasing an external modem ? It would be easier to locate. For the replacement internal modem, try eBay.

You can buy a new modem from eBay, however I doubt you will even be able to connect to the internet nor either view modern websites. Waste of time and money in my opinion.
