Why does my handset die so quickly

My cordless phone dies after being off the charger for even just one day! Why is this happening and can I fix it on my own?

Options

If your handset does hold a charge but dies quickly you should replace the battery. Before you replace the battery you should refer to the Uniden EXP 371 troubleshooting guide.
