Starts automatically and keeps vibrating.

The phone got slightly wet in the rain. It was working, but suddenly it switched off. I opened and cleaned the water. But after sometime the screen went blank and the phone was continuously vibrating, with out any incoming calls or alerts. I removed the battery. When I put the battery back it automatically started and kept vibrating but without any display. How to fix it?

Solved the issue - Had an issue with the Power key. Power key strip changed.
