iRobot Roomba J7 Plus Displays a Bin Full Error
The iRobot Roomba J7 Plus displays a bin-full error even when the dustbin is not full.
Dirty or Faulty Bin-Full Sensor
Dust can cover the bin-full sensor and cause a false error. Clean the sensor with a dry cloth. [Bin-Full sensor cleaning guide]. If the error continues after cleaning, the sensor may need replacement.
Dirty or Improperly Installed Dustbin
Remove the dustbin and empty it. Clear debris from the bin opening and reinstall the bin firmly. If needed, rinse the dustbin with warm water and let it dry completely before reinstalling it.
Full Clean Base Bag
Check the Clean Base bag. If it is full, improperly seated, or not sealing correctly, remove it, shake out loose debris if appropriate, and reinstall or replace it.
Clogged Clean Base Debris Tube
Remove the bag and inspect the collection port and debris tube for clogs. Clear any debris before reinstalling the bag. [Clean Base debris tube cleaning guide].
Blocked Debris Transfer Path
Check the evacuation port and the path between the robot’s dustbin and the Clean Base. Remove any debris blocking the opening.
Clean Base Suction Failure
If the Clean Base does not remove debris after the bag, tube, and transfer path are clear, its suction system may have failed. Contact iRobot Customer Care for further diagnosis, especially if the unit is under warranty.
