Device won't power on
I press the power button, but the device does not turn on
To turn the device on, press and hold the power button. It is on the top right corner!
If your TomTom XXL 540 won't turn on, the first thing you should check is the battery. Is the battery charged? Plug the device into the charger and try to turn it on again.
If it still doesn't work, then you may have a dead battery that needs to be replaced.
The screen is frozen
Is your device frozen or locked up?
If your operating system is locked, you will need to reboot the device. Turn the power off by pressing and holding the power button.
