No images appear on screen

The screen is unresponsive and appears black. No images appear.

Battery is drained

Insert the device into the power adapter and wait for the device to respond.

Device needs to be reset

Place a sharp pointed object into small reset hole on the bottom left corner on the back of the device under the word 'reset'. Wait until the device responds. If problems persist, repeat the above process.

Battery will not keep charge

Device will not charge when plugged into power adapter and is unresponsive.

Dead battery

Open the back of the device case. Apply pressure downward on the back of the device below the silver metal stripe. Then slide off the backing of the device. Delicately, unplug white plastic chip that is attached to intertwined red and blue wires. Remove battery pack from the back of the device. Ensure that the new battery is attached with silver wire endings on white chip facing you. Insert new white chip attached to battery into the battery port. Slide the back of the device securely into place.

Faulty power adapter

Purchase a new power adapter. Place adapter into the charging port and wait for the device to respond. Charge as needed.

Power adapter not charging when connected

Working power adapter is plugged into device, but the device is not charging.

Replace power adapter port

Apply pressure downward on the back of the device below the silver metal stripe. Then slide off the backing of the device. Next, you will find six screws all around the perimeter of the device and unscrew them. Remove this piece to expose the green circuitboard. There are four screws holding this piece in place. Unscrew the four screws and replace the green circuitboard with a new one. Screw back in all the screws and secure back of device. Charge the device accordingly to ensure that the port is effective.
