Camera appears off

Broken LCD:

The screen on the camera may just be unplugged. To replace, unscrew the front casing and ensure that the cable is connected to the motherboard.

Dead Batteries:

Your batteries in the device may have died. To replace, open the battery cover using the button and insert new batteries.

Damaged motherboard:

The camera has a damaged component to its motherboard. To replace, unscrew the front casing and unscrew the motherboard.

Distorted photos

The lens does not focus:

The lens is stuck. If your lens isn’t focusing, try manually using your hands to retract or extend the lens. If this does not work, reset the camera by turning it off and back on again.

Flash doesn’t turn on:

If the flash isn’t turning on when taking pictures, then the bulb may have died. Take apart the flash by unscrewing the screws in the casing near the flash. Unsolder the wires from the bulb and replace the bulb.

Cracked lens:

The lens has a crack in it that is affecting the photos. The lens will have to be replaced.

Distorted Audio

Hardware failure with AV port:

The audio coming out of the camera from videos won’t work/ is distorted. The AV port can be replaced with a soldering iron.

Photos are not saving

Full SD Card:

The SD card could be is full. A new SD card should be purchased and replaced.

Broken SD Card:

The SD card can be broken. A new SD card most likely needs to be purchased and replaced.
