Distorted audio output from speakers

One or both speakers sound distorted, fuzzy, or quieter.

Faulty drivers

Your headphone's software may be out of date. Open a new tab in your browser and navigate to the Logitech website and download Logitech's G HUB to manage your headphone's software. If this does not work, check your device's settings for any updates.

Loose connection

Check the wired connection and ensure the audio jacks are not loose. Also ensure you are using the correct wire to connect your headphones to your device.

Dirty headphone jack

Dust or debris in the headphone jack may distort audio. Disconnect the headset from any device being used and the connecting cord as well as headphone jack with a cloth or gentle blowing.

Water damage

If the speakers have taken water damage, they will need to be replaced.

Sound only comes out of one side

Audio is only coming out of one or both speakers.

Damaged wire

Check the wire connection between your headset and other device you are trying to use the headset with. If you notice any damage to the wire, the wire may need to be replaced.

Dirty headphone jack

Over time, dust and debris can build up inside the jack, causing a poor connection. To fix this issue, try cleaning the jack with a small brush or a by blowing gently.

Loose connection

Try wiggling the wire where it connects to the headphone jack to see if you can hear sound in both ears. If you can, the issue is with the wire and you may need to replace it. If you still can’t hear sound in both ears, the issue may be with the headphone jack itself, in which case it will need to be replaced.

No sound at all from the headset

No audio comes from the headset at all.

Loose connection

Ensure the wire between the headset and other device is secure. Clear the audio jack of any dust or debris if necessary.

Volume control

Check the device to which your headset is connected. It may be that audio output is muted or lower than intended.

Output device set incorrectly

The device to which your headset is connected to may not be trying to use the headset for audio output. Navigate to your device's settings page and find the sound settings. From there, find the audio output settings and ensure your headset is selected for audio output. If that does not work, try the settings within the application you are using, searching for general settings -> sound settings -> audio output.

Damaged speakers

If the speakers have been damaged by water or other physical causes, the speakers will need to be replaced.

Microphone not picking up audio

Headset microphone does not pick up the sound when spoken into.

Loose microphone jack

The microphone may not be secured properly in the headset. Make sure the microphone jack is pushed all the way into the headset’s microphone socket, twisting the base of the microphone to have the small plastic tab line up with the indentation on the microphone jack.

Input device set incorrectly

The device or application you are using may not be trying to use the headset microphone for audio input. For Windows devices, navigate to the Windows search bar and search for “sound settings.” Scroll down the page until you reach “input” and click the bubble next to the headset microphone.

If sound is still not captured, navigate to the settings of the application you are using. You must find the audio settings page. Once found, locate the “input devices” and change the input device to the headset microphone.

Microphone jack damaged

If you look at the microphone jack and notice it is damaged, it will need to be replaced.

Microphone still not working

If none of the above solutions worked, then you will have to order a replacement microphone on the Logitech Spare Parts site.
