Device scanner malfunctioning

Device is running into walls/furniture, or missing parts of the room.

Lidar Scanner may be covered

The Lidar Scanner may be covered by something. Wipe it off and check to see if it works. The Lidar Scanner appears as a little bump on top of the device.

Lidar Scanner may be broken

Your Lidar Scanner may be broken. The Lidar Scanner is what the device uses to scan its surroundings. If wiping off the Lidar Scanner doesn't fix the issue, then replace the Lidar Scanner here: [Insert Link to Lidar Scanner replacement guide here]

Device won't connect to Internet

App says device isn't connecting to the Internet

Problems with the app

Make sure that you have the app downloaded and all the settings properly set. Make sure you're connected to a 5GHz network.

Problems with your internet

The Cybovac L20 will have trouble with connecting to internet if the WiFi Network if:
There are Emojis, Special Characters, or Symbols in the name or password of the WiFi.
If the WiFi requires authentication through a web page.
If the WiFi has a hidden name.
If the WiFi is using a proxy server or VPN.
If it is a private WiFi network.

If the device still won't reconnect, then uninstall and reinstall the app.

Problems with the Motherboard

Failure to charge

The device is not charging

Charging contacts may not be aligned properly

Your charging contacts may not be aligned with those on the base. Make sure to align charging contacts located on charging base with those on the device itself.

Charging/Dust collecting contacts may be covered

Check for any dust or obstruction that may be built up on the charging surface or dust collecting contacts. Clear off the obstruction, and try again.

Dead Battery

If there's no obstruction on dust collecting contacts, and charging contacts are aligned with those on the device itself, then battery may be faulty. Proceed to replace it.

Main brush doesn't work

Main brush does not spin as usual

Brush struggles to spin

There may be debris interrupting the functionality of the brush. Check to see if a foreign object is disabling the brush to spin.

Brush fully does not spin

If the brush does not spin, check if the device is on and the brush is visibly clear. If problem persists then change the brush.

Side brushes don't work

Device is cleaning a smaller width.

Brush does not spin effectively.

Remove the side brushes to remove any debris that may be holding the brushes back.

Broken brush

The side brush may be chipped, and or broken. Replacing the side brushes will be necessary.
