Hitachi CP-X2511 Troubleshooting

The projector's image may be too small or large on the screen, or it may appear to high and angled to the left or right.

Make sure the zoom and focus adjusters aren't broken. If not slide the first handle left or right to your desired size. If the image is now blurry go to the second handle and slide it left or right until the image is clear. If none of this work, you can go to the remote and click zoom + or - for desired size. You can also go to focus and click + or - for a clearer image.

Make sure the rubber feet adjusters aren't damaged or missing. If not turn one foot on each side right to shorten or left to lengthen to adjust the height. And you do the same to adjust the angle of the image that is presented on the screen.

The image displayed is blue on the screen.

If you have any wires in the wrong place, it can cause a blue screen.

If the device that you have is off or is in resting mode. This can cause a blue screen, so simply turn the device on or shake the mouse to turn it on.

The projector is hot and is turning off, it also has a red blinking light as an indicator.

If you have your projector next to another object or by a wall it can cause it to overheat because the fans aren't providing proper air flow. To fix this you can simply move it to a more open area. The same happens when you have a buildup of dust by the vents it can cause overheating. to fix this you simply dust the projector off every month.

If you have a low-quality light bulb in your projector, it can cause overheating because it creates more heat than your standard light bulb. To fix this simply unplug the power cord and let the lamp cool down. Next locate the access panel and remove the screws. then pull out the lamp housing and gently pull out the light bulb. Finally reverse the steps that you just took.

Make sure that your HDMI isn't bent by the plug this can cause the picture to not show up. If this isn't an issue, make sure the HDMI wire is securely plugged into your device and projector.

Make sure the light bulb isn't blown out. If so, simply unplug the power cord and let the lamp cool down. Next locate the access panel and remove the screws. then pull out the lamp housing and gently pull out the light bulb. Finally reverse the steps that you just took.

If you accidentally leave your lens cover over the lens it will result in, you not having an image on the screen. To fix this simply remove the lens cover.

No sound is playing through the screen.

If you look on your remote you will see a speaker icon button, if you click it, it may unmute your device and fix the problem. If this doesn't work click the + volume to turn up the volume on the T.V.

Make sure that your HDMI isn't bent by the plug this can cause the volume to not be there. If this isn't an issue make sure the HDMI wire is securely plugged into your device and projector and it will resolve the issue.
