My base does not start
My base does not show any signs of life, it does not calibrate and the LEDs don't light up.
Check the connections
Make sure that the power cable of your base is properly connected to a wall, without any extensions or power strips.
Make sure that the USB cable is connected directly to USB port of your computer, without any USB extensions or USB Hubs. When using Desktop, it is preferable to use a USB port located on the back.
Test on another computer
If possible, check if your base starts on another PC or Xbox.
Re-install the firmware in your base
You can try reinstalling the firmware in your base. You will find the instructions for this bootloader procedure on the Thrustmaster support site, or in the following guide.
My base turns on but is not recognized
My base turns on and calibrates correctly, but it does not work at all in-game on my Xbox console.
Check the connection
Test your base on another USB port. It is preferable to use the USB ports at the back of the console.
Make sure to not use USB HUBS, your base must be connected directly via USB to your console.
Force Feedback not working properly
Force Feedback exhibits random behaviors in-game, such as loss of the forces or random movement jerks.
Check the firmware of your base
Microsoft regularly performs updates that can modify the operation of certain peripherals. Thrustmaster also updates its products to match the operation of the consoles.
This is why it is important to update your wheel if you notice abnormal behavior. You will find the update instructions on the Thrustmaster support site.
Check the "Quick Resume"
The Quick Resume is a system integrated on the Xbox Series X/S consoles, and on some Xbox One consoles, allowing the simultaneous opening of several games in order to quickly change games and resume a game in progress.
Since the steering wheel receives force feedback information from the games, opening several car simulation games simultaneously can create interference and cause strange behavior. It is therefore strongly recommended not to leave your simulation games open once you have finished.
To close the games that are open in Quick Resume, press the Xbox button on your controller, then go to "My games & apps". In the "Quick Resume" submenu, place the cursor on the icon of your game. Press the Menu button on your controller, and select "Remove from Quick Resume".
