Malfunction with the video driver

Usually, screen flickering stems from a software malfunction with the video driver. This either means that the video driver is outdated and needs to be updated or the video driver that was previously installed was faulty. Through the device, open a browser page and navigate to Support for Dell. Locate the "Drivers Home" page and find your device. Click your device and download the latest driver. On your device, go to device manager and uninstall the current driver. Click the new driver download file after booting to install the new driver.

Sound Not Working

Sound is staticky or does not work

Incorrect Sound Settings

If you are not able to hear anything from your tablet's speakers, make sure that your tablet is not muted. Navigate to your sound settings and check to see if the device is muted or if the volume is put on very low. If that is not the problem, then check if the application you are using for sound is not muted. Make sure the sound ports are not covered by a case or debris.

Faulty Drivers

If you cannot hear sound coming from your speakers, there may be a problem with your sound drivers. Through the device, open a browser page and navigate to Support for Dell. Locate and select your device. You can either run an automatic check on your device or locate the driver yourself on the "find it myself" tab. Download the driver needed for your device.
