Braven BRV-X will not hold a charge but indicates it is fully charged
Your Braven BRV-X shows that it is charged but does not actually work.
Misuse of battery
Your device may become defective if stored improperly and is constantly overcharged. If this is the case, your battery may need to be replaced. Check to make sure that the battery is the problem. This will consist of plugging the device in and turning it on. If the device turns on and works while plugged in but not when the device is unplugged then the battery is dead. The battery will need to be replaced.
Faulty battery
You may have received a bad battery that may need to be replaced. Check to make sure that the battery is the problem. This will consist of plugging the device in and turning it on. If the device turns on and works while plugged in but not when the device is unplugged then the battery is faulty. The battery will need to be replaced.
Braven BRV-X buttons no longer work
Your Braven BRV-X buttons are unresponsive.
Hardware issue
Your device may have a hardware issue and the motherboard may need to be inspected or replaced.
Braven BRV-X Bluetooth connection does not stay constant
Your Braven BRV-X has inconsistent Bluetooth connection.
Low battery will cause lower range
Lower battery will lower the range of Bluetooth connection. Plug the device in and see if the Bluetooth connection has a longer range when connected to a constant power source. If the range is longer then you will need to replace the Bluetooth in the device.
Braven BRV-X won’t connect via Bluetooth
Your Braven BRV-X cannot connect to a Bluetooth device.
Low battery will cause lower range
Lower battery will lower the range of Bluetooth connection. First make sure that the device that you are connecting is connected. If that does not fix the problem try disconnecting and reconnecting to the device. If the problem still occurs then you will need to replace the Bluetooth in the device.

I have no power what so ever.....even when plugged in. This happened out of the blue. I'd appreciate any help, thank you

Mine too.it shows all the lights on when pluged in but nothing works.then for a min when pushing the buttons it made a bunch of sounds then nothing changed the battery same thing.nothing

Mine turns on (while both plugged in AND unplugged), says “pairing,” but after that - it powers down/off. Not sure what the issue could be.
The problem began just now; after having to charge it for the first time since we’ve owned it.

Great success with this BRV-X product until today. Was running external sound in through the aux in jack, worked fine. Shut it down. Went to restart next day and NOTHING. No charge no power up while plugged in. Unit is dead in less than 5 years. Will not buy another Braven.
