Won’t Turn On
The Bella Juicer will not power on when the knob is turned to LO or HI.
Locking Arm Not Engaged
If you turn the machine on and nothing happens, one possible problem is that the safety locking arm isn’t engaged. If the locking arm isn’t in the correct place, the juicer won’t turn on. To engage the locking arm, make sure to snap it into the two grooves on either side of the juicer cover. Once it is securely in place the machine should turn on.
Power Cord Not Plugged In
Check to see if the cord is plugged into an outlet. If the device still won't turn on, check to see if any part of the cord looks broken or damaged.
Damaged Motor
The motor may need to be replaced.
Empty Juice Cup
Juice won’t come out of the spout when the juicer is operating.
Pulp Container Full
Carefully remove the pulp container and empty it.
Blocked Blade Basket
Clear feed tube and clean blade basket of pulp.
Overly Pulpy Juice
Too much pulp is in the juice coming out of the juicer.
Strainer Full
Take out the strainer and clean it out using warm water and soap. Be careful doing this as the cutter teeth are sharp.
Damaged Strainer
The strainer may be damaged or have a hole in it. inspect the strainer and determine if it is torn or ripped.
Loaded Blades
Ensure the blades are clean and not clogged full of pulp. Be careful not to injure yourself as the blades are quite sharp.
Grinding Noises
During normal operations of the Bella juicer, it makes an odd grinding noise.
Loose Motor Mount
If there is a grinding noise coming from the juicer, the potential problem could be a loose motor mount.
Loose Blade Basket
Ensure the blade basket is properly seated.
Plastic Odor and Excessive Heat Coming from the Device
A plastic odor comes from the juicer when it is running.
Worn or Broken Motor
The motor brushes are worn out or the cooling fan is not working properly.

Damaged Motor

I bought my Bella high power juicer several years ago but never used it. Today, I took it out and read all instructions, and saw some demonstration videos and started juicing on high speed. Worked nice for the first 2 carrots and I switched it up to prepare the second batch of vegetables. I did and tried to start it to no avail. The light is on, it’s not hot to the touch, no smoke or plastic smell. It just stopped. Please help.
