  1. Todd Star Adding Machine Teardown, Remove the side and bottom screws: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • I use a plastic multi-compartment box and beware of screws have different sizes and shapes

    • Rubber bands work great. Need to do this so the paddle fins don't jam in the slots they fit through

    • May have to slide a thin blade up the sides to break the rust free

    • Keep them in order

    • Note which side the screws are on
