In this guide you will learn how to teardown the HEC remote control

What you need

This teardown is not a repair guide. To repair your HEC Remote Control, use our service manual.

  1. HEC Remote Control Teardown, HEC Remote Control Teardown: step 1, image 1 of 2 HEC Remote Control Teardown, HEC Remote Control Teardown: step 1, image 2 of 2

    • Using a flat head screwdriver pry open the remote

    • Detach the circuit board from the bottom half of the remote casing.

    • Be careful when removing the circuit board from the casing.

    • Springs are attached to the remote casing

    • Remove plastic molding attached to the top half of the remote casing

    • Remove the lid encasing the batteries
