This teardown is not a repair guide. To repair your Casio F-91W, use our service manual.

  1. Casio Digital Watch Teardown, Casio Digital Watch: step 1, image 1 of 1
    • This is a teardown of a Casio Digital Watch down to the internal circuitry.

    • You will need a small Phillips screwdriver for this teardown.

  2. Casio Digital Watch Teardown, Remove the Case: step 2, image 1 of 1
    • Carefully remove the four screws on the backside of the watch.

    • You will need an extremely small screwdriver. A screwdriver to repair glasses would work.

    • Press your fingers on the screen and remove the watch from its case.

    • Be sure to save the three buttons that control the watch

    • Remove the Battery Holder surrounding the circuitry of the watch by carefully pulling off each of the four clips.

    • Remove the battery by pulling from the sides to unstick the adhesive.

    • Remove the four plastic pins connecting the LCD and remove the LCD holder

    • This reveals the internal circuitry of the watch, and the teardown is complete.

I have casio illuminator dual time watch, it was damaged outerward accidentally , but internal systems r safe. But now its digits r not displaying properly, sometimes digit parts r missing n sometimes fully 888888 r shown

Can you please measure the backplate screws? I have lost all four for my watch, but don't know what dimensions the replacements would need to have.

If you've got no sound, try opening it up and making sure that the small pin in the bottom is lifted enough so it makes contact with the backside of the watch.
