My Problem
My 2010 MacBook Pro was running out of space from its stock 320GB 5400rpm. It was also getting slower and slower as the free space was running out. Boot times were taking much longer than they should and some apps would take their time loading. So I bought an SSD to solve the issue.
My Fix
With the Pro Tech Tool kit and the guides provided by iFixit, the installation and of the new SSD was a breeze. These tools are nicely made with bits that secure really well into the driver with magnetic force.
My Advice
Just take your time and try not to drop a screw inside the laptop. Other than that, it was super easy.
