the battery began to swell, and was bursting out of the case!
My Fix
Ordered the magnet mat - which is fantastic. Little screws extremely little! Could have used a magnifying lense. Instructions very clear.

Take your time, relax.

The power of magnets is well known and understood. I always leave my phone on a magnetic mat so that its cells repair while charging. It's natural, no chemicals involved.
